The Sunday Posts 2012/White Rose

A White Rose

The red rose whispers of passion,
And the white rose breathes of love;
O, the red rose is a falcon,
And the white rose is a dove.

But I send you a cream-white rosebud
With a flush on its petal tips;
For the love that is purest and sweetest
Has a kiss of desire on the lips

Cream instead of green but still a tip of hat to our cousins. Very nice - and you just reminded I have a stockpile of rose photos somewhere on here...

Have a wonderful week and hope that is showing signs of spring for you all.

There's a lot of passion in that rose!

I onl the other hand had to use a stock photo of a rose. It's not a favourite flower so I don't have any in the garden to take photos of and {obviously since I don't have any} never think to take any when I'm anywhere else.

Thank you for thinking Spring thoughts for us. It was snowing yesterday. Again....... ah well.

Have a good week too Yamini.

There's usually a lot of greenfly too!

{sorry - couldn't resist}

Actually I'd forgotten this poem was going to land this week. I wasn't sure about posting it and had kind of made my mind up to swap it for something else but, being a man, hadn't got round to it!

That's {my} life.

Cheers Paula! Have a good week.
